The periodic maintenance of the Siraha-Sukhipur Road of the Siraha district under Component 1.2 (Periodic maintenance) for the preservation of the existing infrastructure and retrofitting these infrastructures to make them climate resilient. The road passes through Siraha Municipality, Arnama Rural Municipality, and Sukhipur Municipality of the Siraha district, connecting the Siddicharan Highway (NH20) at the starting point and ending at Sukhipur Municipality, connecting the Sukhipur-Dhangadhi Road. The road starts from Traffic Chowk, Ward no. 7 of the Siraha Municipality (Coordinate: 26°39'38.07" N and 86°13'15.028" E, Elevation: 64 m) and ends at Sukhipur, Ward no. 8 of Sukhipur Municipality (Coordinate: 26°42’25.09” N and 86°21’47.698” E, Elevation: 69 m). The road connects Siraha Municipality Ward no. 7, 10, and 22, Arnama Rural Municipality Ward no. 3 and 4, and Sukhipur Municipality Ward no. 5, 8, and 10. The road passes through different settlements like Nawaka Thengi, Sagarpur, Hakpara, Banthiya, Laxmipur, Gauripur, Ladkanha, Dahipaudi, and Sukhipur. The total length of the proposed road is 19.23 km. The maintenance works will be limited to the existing formation width.
